Using your Android Device

Casting your Android screen is available on devices running Android 5.0 or later. Turn off “Power Saving Mode” on your Android device. Power Saving Mode can limit the processing power of your device which might affect the performance of the Cast Screen feature.

  2. Open the Google Home app.
  3. Tap the device you want to cast your screen to.
  4. Tap Cast my screen and then Cast screen.
  5. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  6. Tap your device and then Stop mirroring.

  4. Tap the name of your Chromecast to connect.
  5. Tap the Cast icon again, and tap on Mirror screen to start streaming. This will display the webpage on your device. To expand to full screen, tap the lower right corner icon under the video on your device.
